    My career with 180 Medical started with me working as a Billing Specialist. My job priorities included billing up to 500 medical claims to a variety of insurances including commercial, Medicaid and Medicare. I also input insurance and patient payments. and worked to resolve denied insurance claims. I did this job for 5 months with a quarterly audit rate of above 99% accuracy.After 5 month, I was promoted to the position of Resolution Specialist where my priorities included working national account that were more than 3 months overdue for collections, insurance payments and patient payments. I also posted payments, manually keyed and balanced payments, and made necessary adjustments to accounts. I kept up with any changes to insurance guideline and timely filing guidelines. I worked personally with a lot of patients, ensuring that their claims were paid by their insurance, helping them come up with payment plans, informing them when their next shipments were being sent out as well as verifying that the product was working for them. Skills I acquired from these positions were creating graphs, creating advanced excel spreadsheets combining information from several workbooks, exceptional client relation, time management skills for deadlines, high attention to detail within long sheets of numbers, and all other office necessities. Office necessities including, but not limited to, sending email faxes, scanning, systematic filing, copying, and boost moral for other employees around me.
