About Stacy B.

I am not currently looking for work. Please do not contact me about new opportunities. I have experience in a range of different professional settings, from teaching to security. I am currently employed within Catalyst Clinical Research / Aptus Clinical as an IT Helpdesk Specialist. My most recent role was within NCC Group as a Junior Security Consultant where I was able to develop my skills and expand my knowledge within the cyber security and penetration testing fields, which is where I hope to develop more moving forward. Prior to this, I worked within NCC Group in the Customer Success department, assisting with agreement renewals and acting as the point of contact for a large portfolio of customers. I have worked as a Customer Service Technician within Fujitsu Services, enhancing my abilities within IT and gaining experience within a supervisory role, as well as acting in the role of Incident Management within the Incident Control Team where I have been responsible for progressing high priority incidents, monitoring the incidents that are assigned to second and third line teams, and ensuring that the knowledge base is up to date. Prior to my role in Fujitsu, I achieved my CompTIA A+ Certification as well as two IT diplomas with Pitman Training: IT Support Technician Diploma and Advanced IT Support Technician Diploma. During my teaching experience, I have shown initiative by developing the Virtual Learning Environment on Its Learning for the English and Maths departments, setting up the courses for both GCSE and Functional Skills in both subjects. I was instrumental in training the staff within the English and Maths departments in the usage of these systems. I have also helped to develop the GCSE curriculum and create the resources for classroom delivery. In addition to this, I have aided in the tutoring of a trainee teacher, guiding them through the lesson planning process and aiding in their delivery of classes. I am experienced in working with diagnostic tools such as Active Directory and Citrix. I have a typing speed of approx. 100 WPM and am well versed in Microsoft Office products; PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Publisher. I am also willing to learn any new skills that would be required in a new position and have shown an ability to adapt to new applications and systems throughout my various roles.
