Developing and expanding SCRI's international and domestic training programs which include the Heritage Emergency and Response Training (HEART) program for U.S. cultural heritage professionals in partnership with the Heritage Emergency National Task Force (HENTF); Leadership for Cultural Heritage Stewards in Challenging Circumstances with Cultural Emergency Response (CER) and other programs such as cultural property training events for U.S. military personnel. Duties include training program development, implementation, and evaluation.

Project and local operations manager for the first "First Aid to Cultural Heritage in Times of Crisis" course in Washington, D.C., a partnership between the Smithsonian Cultural Rescue Initiative (SCRI), ICCROM, and the Prince Claus Fund. Coordinated logistics for the course, vetted accommodation, reserved venues, and developed partnerships with local organizations to discover potential collaborations for the course. Managed day-to-day activities and troubleshot problems throughout the four-week program. Wrote final report about the training accomplishments and recommendations for future training programs. Also assisted the Cultural Heritage Preservation Officer at the Smithsonian with other projects such as conference preparation, arranging travel for visitors, and submitting content to the department's website.

Worked alongside ICCROM staff to prepare and execute the training course, “First Aid to Cultural Heritage in Times of Crisis,” in cooperation with the Netherlands National Committee of UNESCO, the Reinwardt Academy, Amsterdam, Netherlands, and the Smithsonian Institution, Washington, DC. Assisted course leader in collecting and compiling session outlines for the 4 week course, communicated with participants, prepared course content, and formatted course programme. Also acted as a teaching assistant during the course to the teaching team, organized all the information and logistic details for study visits, assisted in managing the group during the study visits and group activities, participated in the organization of practical activities and implementation of the simulations and ensured that everything was ready on time.

Conducted analysis on the paper structure of 50+ watercolors by American artist James McNeil Whistler in the Freer Gallery of Art. Used computed and film radiography techniques to image watermarks within the paper. Compared and contrasted different techniques in order achieve the highest image quality possible. Final fellowship report contained recommendations to others in the conservation science field conducting similar watermark imaging with CR systems. This fellowship contributes to the larger collaborative Whistler Watercolor Project.

Bangkok Metropolitan Area, Thailand

Assisted with the 2014 UNESCO Asia-Pacific Awards for Cultural Heritage Conservation. Responsible for processing submission documents (40+ entries) for the most current awards session and compiling them into coherent reports for the jury members to review. Answering inquiries and responding in a timely manner. Maintaining the hard and digital archive of each submitted dossier. Entering data into tracking databases. Communicating with past winners of the award for feedback on the impact the award has had on their property. Collaborating with other team members on designing a new section of the website devoted to specific conservation challenges.

Managed and assisted with all administrative and conservation technician tasks in prominent museum conservation laboratory. Maintained radiography equipment; monitored and reported on temperature and humidity levels in galleries. Coordinated all logistics for biennial academic symposium. Provided copy editing assistance for both Curatorial and Conservation department publications. Processed and monitored all staff and invitational traveler paperwork. Balanced department financial accounts and manage department purchase card. Educated staff on new financial, administrative, and travel policies.

Educational internship where I was rotated between three museum departments: Curatorial Department (Curator of Graphic Arts), External Affairs (Public Programs), and Education. Curatorial duties included researching artist biographical information for “Over the Top: American Posters from World War I." Composed response letters to artist inquiries of the museum. External Affairs duties involved preparing a portfolio for an upcoming art exhibition which was used to correlate future public programs. Researched and wrote reports on future museum speakers. Education Department duties involved creating educational activities for school groups that visit the museum and researching and writing classroom debate topics about New Deal Art.
