Its official! Hospice of Southwest Iowa is now part of the VNA family!

Not for profit community based hospice currently covers four counties in Southwest Iowa. We work to raise awareness and funds for the programs and services we provide to hospice patients and their families, as well as provide community based education on the importance of advanced care planning and the benefits of early hospice intervention.

Identified and secured over $280,000 in grants or third party event funding which was a 40% increase for the agency.Executed media buys to help promote charitable events.Maintained the agency website, including regular updates and a major re-branding effort with the national office in 2008.Produced quarterly update for over 3,000 clients.Served as.

Exceeded 2006 annual fundraising campaign goal by 15%, which included securing twice the amount of anticipated sponsors.Consistently exceeded grant goals with an increase of 25% during 2006 and 2007.Increased in-kind donations by 400% to reduce agency costs.Coordinated first annual art auction to educate community about the need for art-based.
