I’m currently a freelance entertainment news writer and editor, covering celebrities, film and TV. I also provide media relations services and consulting as needed.For nearly nine years, from 2014 to 2023, I worked for Entertainment Tonight, where I served as the Senior Editor of TV and Streaming for the digital team and won an Emmy for my contribution to the brand's overall entertainment coverage.Not only did I write about all things TV, I helped manage the brand's online original reporting and features coverage as well as designed and executed awards season packages for film, theater, and TV. In addition to writing and editing stories for Entertainment Tonight, I have bylined articles for Backstage, NewNowNext, Rolling Stone and Town & Country. I have also previously worked for BuzzFeed, Out and VH1.I’m the co-creator of “Texts From Hillary,” the popular internet meme starring Hillary Clinton, and made Jennifer Lawrence's photobomb of Sarah Jessica Parker at the Met Gala a viral sensation along with being responsible for other briefly memorable moments on the internet. I’ve also created “Forgotten Tote Bag” and many other forgotten Tumblrs.I am an active voting member of Television Critics Association and GALECA: The Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics.Prior to my career in journalism, I got started in public relations, where I helped manage campaigns and media relations for various clients in the tech, environment, public affairs, tourism sectors.
