Epic new install for an existing Epic client rolling out their instance of Epic to an acquired hospital. I was the analyst for the Behavioral Health and Inpatient Rehab (IRF) modules.

Epic analyst for ClinDoc and Orders team. - Worked with Clinical Document Improvement (CDI) specialists to implement Coding Query functionality. - ClinDoc resource for data conversions to interface data from a newly acquired hospital.

Post-live support role for existing Epic client.

- Performed Inpatient build and testing to prepare for 2018 flu season. Our project team delivered ahead of schedule with a successful go-live.- Worked with users in Wound Care to resolve an issue with an error generated when creating a flowsheet note. Epic’s Galaxy documentation did not provide any insight, so I cast a wider net, searching general tech forums outside of Epic. I discovered it was an issue with image size and worked with the Canto team to set limits on allowed size for wound images.- Served as Epic point person for Stroke order set updates; coordinated efforts with nursing management, downtime forms, physician approval, and change control.- Attended committee and advisory group meetings to demo and discuss changes in Epic- Completed knowledge sharing with full time staff.- Provided at-the-elbow go live support for Upgrade to Epic 2018.

- Partnered with physicians, HIM, and other Epic teams to redesign the structure of notes in Chart Review. Updated transcription tables, loading code for notes tab, and system definition default filters.- Assisted with GetWell integration doing Patient Education build, identity type build, identity mapping for patient education, interface testing, and go-live support. Our team succeeded in completing the fastest integration of GetWell to date, with a smooth go-live!- Performed analysis and build for SPOM (Surgical and Procedural Orders Management) Audit in preparation for OpTime go-live.- Supported KidsHealth implementation by updating Patient Education, Care Plans, custom Menus, and Roles.- Worked with the Pulmonary department to revise Therapy Plans for Xolair administration and created new Therapy Plans for Nucala administration.- Built Pediatric Early Warning Score (PEWS) scoring system and associated rule; tested and troubleshot rule logic.

- Partnered with Case Management, Nursing, Physicians, and Pharmacy to complete Epic build for Delirium Project (Kaizen/Lean project); standardizing across the 7 hospitals in the health system.- Worked with nursing informatics to optimize pain documentation; streamline flowsheets and revise reassessment BPAs and Patient List columns.- Served as member of after visit summary (AVS) workgroup, along with Patient Education, Nursing Informatics, Pharmacy, and Case Management.
