I graduated from the University of California, Davis in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. While in college, I interned in the California State Assembly for former Assemblywoman Patricia Bates. After graduating from the University of California, Davis, I worked as a legal assistant for Corfee Stone & Associates, a Carmichael employment and ADA access defense law firm.From 2007 to 2010, I attended the University of California, Davis School of Law, where I received my Juris Doctorate in 2010. While in law school, I served as a member and Associate Articles Editor of the U.C. Davis Law Review and as a member of the Jewish Law Students Association. Additionally, during the summer following my first year of law school, I interned for the General Counsel for the California Building Industry Association, a statewide trade association representing companies and professionals in the homebuilding industry. I joined Wilke, Fleury, Hoffelt, Gould & Birney, LLP, as an associate in September 2010 where I gained experience in multiple areas of law including: employment, mergers and acquistions, healthcare, medical malpractice, bankruptcy, estate planning, and tax. I began working in the Department of Health Care Services, Office of Legal Services, Special Projects, Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder Team in July of 2013.
