Several of these products incorporated technologies that were new to the company, including wireless Zigbee devices and TFT touch screen applications.- As a certified SCRUM Master I apply SCRUM and Agile methods to all project activities in lieu of legacy waterfall methods to bring internal and external customers in closer collaboration with engineering during the entire design cycle.- Implemented a HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Test) program that ensures all new product introductions are robust and free from defects.- Responsible for all agency approval activities including UL, cUL, FCC, and CE.

- Design and analysis of off-line switching power supplies for use in battery charging of Nickel Metal Hydride, Nickel Cadmium and Lithium Ion cell packs.- Design and FDA approval of a medical lithium ion battery charger for use with implantable heart assist pump.- Miniature DC to DC Converter Design for high efficiency and reliability employing buck, boost and switched capacitor topologies in order to provide a wide range of voltage and current levels for powering accessory equipment.- Printed Circuit Board Layout including component placement and signal routing to minimize EMI and enhance performance of DC/DC converters and off-line switchers.- Electromagnetic Compatibility design for CE and FCC requirements including power factor correction, surge, fast transients, ESD, immunity and emissions.- Embedded C Software and Hardware Design for use in battery charging, remote control and motor control applications.

- Design of miniature, low cost DC to DC converters and sensor signal conditioning electronics for custom and standard applications. - Communications includes direct interface with customers for design reviews.- EMC design for compliance to commercial and military specifications.- Circuit design and analysis for using empirical data, mathematical, and software modeling techniques, including MTBF and FMEA. Specializing in amplification and signal conditioning of low level sensor signals for LVDT’s and strain gage bridges.
