Ali is a Stand-Up Comedian, Actor and Radio & Television Personality. In 2023 Ali will begin touring his new solo show, 'Does This Taste Funny?' in Ontario and Western Canada. In March of 2020, Ali wrapped up a 4 year run of his solo comedy show 'Muslim Interrupted'. The show began in Montreal at the Just for Laughs Festival, followed by a month-long run at The Edinburgh Festival Fringe. After that, Ali toured the show across Canada, to over 30 cities. It has received in an incredible amount of press and an overwhelming response from live audiences. As a stand-up comedian Ali has been nominated for a CANADIAN COMEDY AWARD and was awarded COMEDIAN OF THE YEAR in 2015 by ANOKHI Media Group. On Television, Ali has had recurring roles on Designated Survivor (ABC), Cardinal (CTV), Odd Squad (PBS Kids/TVO), and Man Seeking Woman (FXX).
