Deciding I need to pursue a career that would offer me a living, I invested in a 6- week course in HVAC training, going on to complete my community college degree at night while working in the field during the day. After about 5 years, I was ready to venture out on my own. A good judge of character, I surrounded myself with hardworking people I could trust to build several successful businesses over the course of my career.
