About Joe Longo
Everyone wants to have a moment. Experience a moment. Capture a moment. In sports marketing, you get to create that moment. As a natural creative who use to also love math class (then go to practice after school), sports marketing has been where my skills intersected with my interests. Being in a career where I open Photoshop one day and then am on the court when a Big Ten basketball championship gets clinched the next is the type of place where I always dreamed of being. As someone who was raised through sports, I look at my work like an athlete looks at weights and practice. The way I look at gamedays hasn't changed since I first put on cleats as a 3 year old. It's an everyday grind, getting better day after day, until greatness is achieved. And any team that uses a draft pick on me will be lead to a championship.(Well the marketing version of one, I'm 5'6" 250, I can't get much done against a true athlete let alone a championship.)I hope you enjoyed this over me just relisting my skills or achievements, because my biggest skill or even achievement is my personality. Instead of listing "passionate," I wanted to show it. Communicate my mentality instead of adding "communication" in my skills. Yet, still use all those keywords to play the algorithm so this message ends up on your screen.
