I'm now at Leonardo Australia (Helicopters) but previously, a highly experienced Quality Assurance Officer while employed at Qantas Airways and at Jetstar Airways has empowered me with knowledge and exceptional attention to detail to be regarded a specialist in my field of work. Additionally, I am a competent team leader with more than 15 years experience as a leader including the role of Maintenance Supervisor and have carried out the duties of Manager - Workshops Melbourne while previously at Qantas. I hold a Diploma in Quality Auditing, Mechanical Engineering and a Certificate IV in Frontline Management and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessing. Furthermore, my experience extends to the use of Lean Sigma principles to improve processes and turnaround times to meet aircraft schedules.As a team orientated individual and leader, I gain satisfaction mentoring people who are willing to improve themselves and am always willing to be mentored myself to continuously develop my skill levels to meet common team goals. I also have a passion for workplace safety and as a First Aid Officer, have acquired an adequate understanding of the OH&S Act 2004 & have spent several years on the OH&S committee.
