Responsible for identifying, designing and planning the implementation of solutions affecting existing and planned product development. These solutions very often include selection of edge technologies, or technologies previously not experienced by the company, in an ongoing effort to produce modern applications exceeding standard industry expectations and remain in a position to continue to do so. Responsible for guidance of iterative development towards the realization of long term visions and concepts that includes a guiding principal that treats mobile as a first-class citizen. Examples include: migrating all code to the latest .net versions developed in the latest Visual Studio IDE; adoption of TFS for complete ALM including source control, agile SCRUM, automated build and testing; adoption of automated testing tools; introduction of unit testing; introduction of standardized code styling; introduction of Enterprise Architect for design; migration to Entity Framework; introduction of Xamarin as a native cross platform mobile solution; introduction of SignalR; introduction of Redis; introduction of REST web services using WebAPI and OData; mentoring of new language features such as async programming; and much more. Responsible for corporate initiatives including IRAP and SR&ED.

Identify, research, design, plan and implement solutions addressing a wide array of challenges. Solution environments include mobile computers, distributed computing, browser interfaces and Managed Services. Technologies leveraged include C#, WinForms, ASP.net, WCF Data Services and Silverlight integrating TCP, UDP, satellite, GPS, serial and embedded device sources. Manage teams of up to 8 people while utilizing collaboration, issue tracking, modeling and TFS tools.

Designed and implemented a whole system migration to a client/server solution using proprietary TCP message streaming, thin client and plugin technologies.
