As a recent graduate I am looking for the next opportunity to learn and grow in the tech world. I bring experience in both human-centered support and tech development. My journey includes:Sexual Assault and Rape Counselor: I provided critical support and advocacy for men and women from all walks of life, developing skills in empathetic communication and crisis management. This role emphasized the importance of creating safe, supportive environments and navigating tough situations. Software Engineer Intern: I gained hands-on experience in full stack development, working on the full picture of a project from start to finish. My work involved designing, coding, and testing in SQL Sever, Java/Spring Boot, and React, contributing to a high-quality software solution in a team setting. Learning one on one from experienced professionals gave me perspective and understanding that I lacked in a classroom and made me excited to start my own career journey. Mendix Programming: I worked using Mendix (low code software) to develop efficient and scalable applications for university wide adoption. This experience has deepened my understanding of low-code platforms and their role in streamlining development processes.Combining my counseling insights with technical expertise, I am exited to apply my skills to make a meaningful impact.
