In this role I work across our Darling Harbour Attractions, including SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium, WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo and Madame Tussaud's Sydney. I oversee the operation and performance of our Food and Beverage and Retail outlets, as well as managing our relationship with our 3rd party photography vendor, with an overall remit to drive increased RPCs. I work closely with our Procurement Team to ensure we are delivering a product that exceeds our guest’s expectations as well as driving the continued growth of our commercial departments. In addition to this, I work closely with Attraction Managers, the Marketing Team and other stakeholders to deliver products that align with our future campaigns. In contrast to my previous roles, this role directly manages the respective department managers where there is a strong focus on their training and development within both their department, and the business. During my time in this role I have developed commercial improvement strategies which have seen strong improvements on department RPCs as well as each department having an improved Employee Engagement score on the prior year. I have also acted as Project Champion for one of our major CAPEX Projects, Outback Adventures Café, a brand new, full service kitchen and dining area within WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo. This project was delivered on time and within budget and enhanced my understanding into project systems, as well as an insight in how to achieve the strongest operational flow within a kitchen.

In addition to these, I also aided my managers with systems for loss control, upselling strategies, delivering exceptional Customer Service, delivering Daily Briefs, and promoting staff morale. I was also responsible for the development of the Workplace Health and Safety Risk Management Systems, which was awarded 99% in 2012 Health and Safety audit, an improvement of 13% on the previous audit.
