Data Analysis/Preparation is the first filter in the process of In-line-Inspection, the main function is to convert raw data from the field into graphical format in order to prepare it for evaluation, performing correlations between technologies and previous inspections, evaluate parameters of the pipeline in order to evaluate quality of the data, identifying markers (GPS coordinates) for pipeline location and mapping purposes, analize and compare from previous inspections to detect pipeline movement, reroutes and bending strain.During the evaluation process features and anomalies in the pipeline are identified and detected and then the report is created for the different oil and gas companies.During this time at Rosen I have successfully prepared 290 pipeline inspections which is over 27000 km of raw data for analysis.

As a Production Engineer/Technologist at Petroregional del Lago (Joint Venture between Shell Venezuela and PDVSA), I successfully contributed in all areas of well planning and execution (gas lift design, completion design, well modelling, sand control definition).Designed, coordinated services and executed 15 completions and workovers on heavy- oil horizontal wells and light- oil cretaceous wells increasing the company’s production in 8500 bopdLed 7 well site operations during stimulations (matricial, acid and hydraulic), 4 drilling, 7 completion, 8 workovers and 10 ESP/JP/GL well commissioningPlanned and scheduled field/wells opportunities portfolio and supporting drilling sequence.Evaluated and solved problems related with the ESP's shut downs in order to maintain the production up to 40,000 bpd and identified 10 possible candidates for well intervention design, planning and execution, evaluation of well clean out and stimulation candidates Managed the integrity, production and optimization of 80 wells (Gas Lift, ESP, Jet Pump and natural flow wells) from light and heavy oil reservoirs, sandstones and carbonates formations, maintaining the total company production.Selected, designed, monitored, and troubleshot the appropriate artificial lift method for light and medium/heavy oil reservoirs. Being part of the Drilling team at Shell & PDSA gave me the opportunity to work with highly experienced and knowledgeable people that showed me how to perform in the Oil and Gas business in an efficient and safe way.Created a Database that contained all the reports of events that caused delays in operational time at the drilling rig and their corrective actions and future recommendations in order to prevent incidents and optimize work time and performance in wells with similar conditions or in the same cluster.Thesis project: Analysis for the implementation of the water based drilling fluid of high performance for high pressures and high temperatures in the Cretaceus of Urdaneta West Field; a more environmentally friendly and economic product that would perform as efficiently as the oil based drilling fluid but reducing waste once the work is done.
