Having completed a double degree in Business and Science at Queensland University of Technology (majoring in International Business and Biological Sciences), I have developed a keen interest in both laboratory work and business consultancy. University also provided me with important skills like team collaboration, multitasking, and professional writing/presentation experience. I have the most experience (so far) in a customer service position, within which I have excelled at conversing with and assisting with customer's every need. I am a people person that enjoys working with others and always liaising beyond the bare minimum level with colleagues and customers alike to facilitate getting the most out of all my interactions. Looking forwards at my desired career, I have gained experience working in a laboratory as a technical assistant and have also participated in a research project to help build my laboratory skills, experience and knowledge. On the business side of things, I thoroughly enjoyed the aspects of my degree that involved risk assessments and forming expansion plans for businesses moving into foreign markets. This area is so unique and specific to every business, so working in the consultancy field and assisting with the individual needs of each business/client would provide endless growth and learning opportunities; there would never be a boring day.
