I also coordinated and oversaw the support of many of these medical experts to investigations and collect and disseminate good practice.I provided support to the National Injuries Database Manager with the running of the unit, including collection, assessment, and presentation of management data, unit development (e.g. business planning), and ad hoc development projects (e.g. database software development).I also mentored and supervised two colleagues of National Injuries Database Case Support, helping to set learning objectives, overseeing quality assurance of work, ensuring compliance to corporate policy and standards, and coordinating with the National Injuries Database Manager in their development.Working for a major police training organisation I was often required to deliver presentations on the use of the National Injuries Database, forensic medicine, and NPIA Specialist Operational Support to training courses, conferences, and other ad hoc events for police, medical experts, and forensic scientists.I proposed and developed multiple ad-hoc projects, for example good practice documents or a pilot of new technical methods.
