The study focuses on both the new structures and the requalification of the existing stadium. Studies about demolition phases of the old structures has been developed• Via dei Rospigliosi 43 (Milan, Italy): Project coordinator for the structural and geotechnical design of a new residential district of almost 400 apartments, with a 25 story tower and other buildings collected by a common basement. Represented the company at technical meetings with clients and design team• Via Senato 13 (Milan, Italy): Refurbishment and seismic retrofit of existing building of late 60s. Project also includes top-down excavation to create new carparks underneath the existing building. Detailed design of new structures, consolidations and retaining structures, with studies of construction sequences on site. Site supervisor of structures.

Internship in a multicultural environment, working on international project and balancing working activity with the research one, carrying out the master thesis. Design of concrete, steel and post-tensioned concrete members, according to American and Chinese codes. Research is aimed to study and apply the Performance-Based Seismic Design methodology on innovative lateral resisting systems.Main projects:• Shenzhen Citic Financial Center: (Shenzhen, China): Complex and heterogeneous podium structure (2 pools, roof landscape, sloped columns, 15m high ballroom, roof trusses span 36m) in high seismic area. Preliminary design and global structural behavior study. Concrete and steel members design, according to Chinese building code• New Long Beach Civic Center (Long Beach, CA, USA): Research project in collaboration with Politecnico di Milano, named “Analysis design and modelling of unbounded PT concrete walls in seismic areas”. Response comparison between different seismic design procedures and different configurations. Applied the Direct-Displacement Based Design method and established a new procedure to model vertical post-tensioning with commonly used FE software. Pushover analysis and Time-History analysis have been performed.
