Member of Network Voice Toastmasters in Weymouth, Massachusetts in District 31. Served as club president for several terms and Area 31-F1 Governor, Division 31-F Governor and Division 31-C Governor. I served in the two Lieutenant positions, concentrating on extending the network of clubs and membership building/retention as well as the education and training of our members. I advanced to the top elected office as District Governor. I served as the CEO of the organization, overseeing budgeting, strategic planning and general operation of the clubs and activities of about 3500 people. A few years after completing that role, an opportunity arose that required an experienced leader again. I re-entered the leadership track and served as the Program Quality Director and District Director, leading 5000 members and 200 clubs to achieving their educational and leadership goals in Toastmasters. I continue to provide mentorship and advice to District leadership to encourage the success of our District.

I define our corporate monitoring and alerting strategy and guide the development of monitoring and automation tooling to support our cloud environment, writing tools to automate parts of the DevOps toolchain. I currently manage a team of 11 automation developers, tool administrators, and monitoring specialists.Projects include developing monitoring dashboards to senior management which give a complete and insightful view of our infrastructure and working with our vendors to leverage emerging advances in machine learning to provide preventative alerts and self-healing of our environments.

I lead a team of 26 Scrum Managers, Business Analysts, Quality Assurance, Communications, Operations and Software Engineers (located in the United Kingdom and Sri Lanka) in building and maintaining a monitoring platform that has become the standard for a company of 35,000 employees and tens of thousands of devices. Provide incident mitigation for the Global Technology Operations group for the online infrastructure serving millions of users. Evaluate and recommend approval for deployment plans affecting production environment. Develop tools for use by team members to increase productivity and minimize operational downtime.
