The Globalization Solution Architect selects, maintains, and oversees end-to-end solutions to enable seamless processing of client’s translatable content ensuring a highly automated workflow, data integrity, and quality.Specific Duties and ResponsibilitiesGlobalization Solution Architecture- Assess what the Company needs to perform its operations – manage and perform work, store and transfer data, assess and track quality, manage linguistic assets, automate activities such as handovers – and ensure that a solution or set of solutions, such as a CAT system, a TMS system, a QA system, a quality tracking system, is in place to meet said needs - Act as administrator/manage the administration of any solution/set of solutions currently composing the Company platform- Ensure that the Company platform is maintained and updated, and that it fulfils the needs of users as required by their respective roles- Stay current on the industry trends in terms of possible, more effective alternatives to the platform or related components as presently deployed. - Analyze Company operations processes, and identify the best approaches to fit them to the platform and/or vice-versa- Author/manage the authoring of instructions and best practices- Perform/manage the training and support activities to current and future users of the platform- Participate in pre-analysis activities to assess the needs of specific clients/projects/programs in terms of system integration, file format support, in order to identify the appropriate tools and processes for supporting any given operation scenario- Customize, or manage the customization, of any component of the platform to adapt it to a specific scenario. Identify functionality gaps that may require the addition or replacement of platform components- Oversee the creation of custom code as needed to support specific operation needs- In addition, manage the Company's terminology program

• Design and oversee projects and programs related to terminology, both for human and machine consumers (custom glossaries for MT performance improvement). • Manage translation projects for large law firms and eDiscovery platforms.• Research and advise on tools and processes for improving language quality.• Participate in initiatives for the adoption of new tools

- Lead cross-functional and departmental teams for any issue regarding terminology (definition, approval, harvesting, translation, usage guidelines, issue detection and resolution, change implementation and tracking, and more)- Manage projects and activities related to terminology- Integrate terminology projects within the wider framework of localization projects- Maintain the Corporate glossary- Identify and deploy terminology management tools- Consult on practical usages of terminology and user experience issues that may involve terminology and language- Liaise with peers in the Industry

- Edit/Translate content, working with various file formats and content types - Maintain glossaries, style guides and translation memory databases for Italian- Perform language Sign-Off inspections on deliverables- Triage and fix or reassign language-related bugs- Detect and report internationalization issues- Manage and respond linguistic queries for Italian- Review tests from candidate vendors for certification- Occasional backup on project coordination activities (file preparation, authoring of instructions, file management)- Consultation/suggestions on process improvements and on new tools
