As a Counter Fraud Manager I possess a number of skill sets.I lead a team of counter fraud professionals, all with varying experience. I regularly liaise with both non-executive and executive directors where I need to persuade and influence. This includes both the strategic direction of a counter fraud plan and regular communications on the progress of investigations. This can be one to one, or through more formal settings such as Audit Committee's.I am an experienced and well regarded counter fraud and bribery professional.My role includes creating bespoke risk assessments (reviewed and updated throughout the year) and delivering both proactive and reactive work to the client in a timely and cost efficient manner.I have a excellent working knowledge of the key legislation such as the Fraud act, Bribery act, CPIA and Police & Criminal Evidence act.My skill sets go beyond just counter Fraud, to also include elements of HR. After qualifying from University I worked for 10 years in HR in both Public and Private settings.I have been trained by ACAS to deliver local investigations (non fraud related).This unique combination of experience makes me well placed in all dealings with HR at a corporate level when planning proactive work and when liaising on joint criminal / disciplinary sanctions.
