In my elevated position as Principal Software Engineer, I was entrusted with the pivotal task of scaling and transforming the PhishER product into an enterprise-ready offering. Following the success of the PhishER product, KnowBe4 recognized the need to dedicate more resources to its development and maintenance. In response to this need, a specialized PhishER team was established, and I was honored to be selected as the manager of this new team. In this leadership role, my primary responsibilities were twofold: overseeing the continuous growth and enhancement of the PhishER product, and strategically expanding and nurturing the team dedicated to its development. My role as manager was pivotal in driving the product forward, ensuring both its technical excellence and the professional growth of the team members under my guidance.

At KnowBe4, in my capacity as a Senior Software Engineer, I played a key role in the enhancement and maintenance of our flagship product, KMSAT. My responsibilities involved not only creating new features but also addressing and resolving bugs to ensure optimal performance and user experience.In 2018, I became an integral part of the pioneering team tasked with developing 'PhishER,' a new SaaS offering from KnowBe4. Initially, my focus was on developing the backend of the application using Ruby on Rails, while collaborating with other teams working on backend services in Go. The primary objective of my role was to construct a robust and centralized backend API. This API acted as the backbone, seamlessly integrating various services with the frontend, ensuring a cohesive and efficient system.The initial success of 'PhishER' led to a strategic decision to expand and evolve the product. Subsequently, there was a significant shift in our approach, with a greater emphasis on utilizing Rails as the primary framework for backend development. This period marked a significant expansion of the product, and my involvement was pivotal in its growth and refinement.

As a Co-Founder of Trace Recon, now ReconVelocity, I played a pivotal role in developing a state-of-the-art back-office inventory management system. This innovative tool was engineered to revolutionize the tracking and communication aspects of the reconditioning process for newly acquired vehicles at scale. My experience at Trace Recon involved a deep commitment to optimizing operational efficiencies and ensuring the seamless integration of complex processes. In 2019, our forward-thinking approach and impactful solutions led to a significant milestone: the acquisition of Trace Recon by Velocity automotive and again in 2023 by Vehlo, a clear recognition of the value and potential of our work.

In my role as Co-Founder and Principal Software Engineer at The Catalyst Agency, I was primarily responsible for crafting comprehensive software development proposals and leading the execution of these projects. This role not only allowed me to delve deeply into the technical aspects of software engineering but also provided me with the opportunity to directly contribute to the success and satisfaction of our clients through my hands-on involvement in each project's development process.

As a Full Stack Ruby on Rails Developer, my primary focus was on the development and optimization of online lead tracking and generation systems. My role involved deep engagement with server-side programming and database management, ensuring robust and efficient backend functionality. Additionally, I managed online advertising campaigns, including Google Adwords and Facebook Ads, integrating these platforms into our overall system for enhanced performance tracking. My responsibilities also extended to server administration, where I ensured seamless operation and security.
