Responsible for • the co-ordination of all outstanding works with the target of achieving Mechanical Completion / Pre-commissioning / Commissioning works to NORSOK specifications.• ensuring 3rd party certifying authorities and Operation personnel were involved in the handover and acceptance process. • co-ordination of all contractors, vendors, suppliers, and discipline works as required.• continuous monitoring of progress and quality of installation to ensure compliance with Company HSE&Q standards. The SBM / Talisman project Yme MOPUStor was a very interesting and challenging job.

Markhus AS was awarded the contract by Cosco Ship Yard in Nantong China for completion of the architectural engineering & outfitting for a 120 bed Living Quarter (GM-4000 project Island Innovator). The rig owner was the Norwegian company Island Offshore. The project was set on hold late 2008 due to the recession and I was therefore transferred to Abu Dhabi and assigned to Talisman Energy Norway to look after their interest in Yme MOPUStor.
