I co-founded a real estate acquisitions firm with the business model of investing in undervalued assets in lower Westchester County, New York City and select regions across the United States. We currently own over 20 properties.

At Gaia, I worked on a two-person team running the asset management division for over 3,000 multifamily residential units in Houston, Stamford, Providence, Nashville and Atlanta.I was directly responsible for the construction management of the over 1,300-unit Connecticut portfolio, producing monthly and quarterly investor update reports and managing the relationship of our third party property manager, Pinnacle. Key Accomplishments:-Oversaw the successful disposition of over $40M of properties working from sourcing the sales broker, to interviewing potential buyers and negotiating the PSA to post close reconciliations. -Directly responsible for managing construction projects in excess of $2M.

As part of my work at MD Sass, I ran the trading desk for all equity and equity derivative products for the division’s three strategies comprising separately managed accounts, mutual funds, and prime brokerage accounts.I managed the equity team’s day-to-day relationships with all broker dealers, operational staff and third party research vendors. In addition, I presented potential investment ideas and trading strategies to the division’s respective portfolio managers.

During my time on the tax lien team, I was a member of the acquisitions group responsible for evaluating potential purchases and modeling projected returns. In addition, I managed our properties we acquired through the foreclosure process with book values in excess of $1 million in conjunction with developers, contractors, and real estate agents to strategically reposition these assets and maximize their sales price.

Managed construction projects for a 250-unit residential complex in Brooklyn, NY and oversaw a $100K renovation budget at the site.

Researched and analyzed industry reports at GE Capital’s Sydney, Australia office to identify key economic factors impacting their loan portfolio by conducting economic stress tests.

Developed regulations and instituted guidelines for a system of checks and balances for NYC's new vehicle for procurement. In addition, I conducted financial audits on city agencies including the DOT and FDNY.
