Stjórnvísi (Excellence Iceland) is a not for profit organization that was established 1986, with members of total 4.500 individuals within 370 organisations. Our goal is to promote business excellence within all sectors in Iceland. The core operations are around professional groups where each group organizes specific topic and discussion over the year to increase knowledge and strengthen the network within Iceland. We are in collaboration with Icelandic Startups, Endurmenntun (continuing education within University of Iceland), Opna háskólann (open university within University of Reykjavik) and Félag forstöðumanna ríkissstofnana (Association of Directors of Government institution). Excellence Iceland owns Íslenska ánægjuvogin (Icelandic customer Satisfaction Index) and Stjórnunarverðlaun (management reward), both handed out every year to excellence award winners. We also hand out every year Samfélagsskýrslu (Social Responsibility) in cooperation with Festa (social responsibility) and Viðskiptaráð Íslands (Icelandic Chamber of Commerce). Excellence Iceland runs the the project of Excellence Organizations in cooperation with Nasdaq, Samtök atvinnulífsins (Confederation of Icelandic Enterprises) and Viðskiptaráð Íslands (Icelandic Chamber of Commerce).
