Exploring the ideal greenhouse soil mix conditions to grow white clover in order to provide more consistent results for experiments concerning the effect of climate change on the cyanogenesis of white clover.

Acted as a first-year orientation leader in August, and continue to serve first-year students as a peer mentor by hosting weekly "WUSA Hours", answering questions about topics including academics, activities, and the transition to college, and supporting the Student Transition and Family Programs office in events such as Parent and Family Weekend.

One of 23 leaders who organized and safely executed a 65 person Fall Break backpacking trip to Missouri backcountry for first-years and transfer students to aide in their transition to college. Now, one of 10 former leaders who train the next leader class, providing instruction in both hard skills, such as fire building and water purification, and soft skills, such as conversation facilitation.

Safely led groups of 12-18 elementary and middle school students through hands on outdoor learning experiences including hikes, creek walks, and educational games as part of a summer enrichment program. Taught survival and naturalist skills such as plant identification, compass navigation, knife and carving safety, and safe fire starting.

Assisted with biochemical experiments studying ribosomal activity in yeast in a Washington University lab using procedures such as PCR and gel electrophoresis.
