This role involved developing the skills of and seeking employment for my personal portfolio of around 50 clients. I worked as part of a team of three that achieved the quarterly award for successful placements during my time in this role under high pressure to meet personal and team targets. As part of this role I also led pitches to attract new clients to the company’s employment assistance scheme.

I worked as an editorial assistant for three journalism internships, initially with the Mining Journal, then at Nature Geoscience and finally at the BBC. During my internships my work was regularly published, both online and in the main journal, and I project managed a supplementary 16 page booklet on the Mining and Metals market in London. At the BBC I worked as a researcher in the science factual department.

After graduating I worked in a number of roles including as a trainee site manager for Mansell Construction and as an Activities Instructor for Marwell Activity Centre (teaching quadbiking, climbing, archery etc). During this period I also travelled through Africa, starting in Nairobi and eventually flying out of Johannesberg.
