I’m driven an ambitious person with a diverse background in management, customer service and route planning. I have progressed into my current role as an cycle fundraiser for Action Medical Research.Within my former role with as a delivery office manager for Royal Mail, I delivered efficiency improvements though prioritising areas of weakness to create action plans, with execution though varied coaching techniques and adaptations to processes.With a strong passion for sport, I have competed internationally, representing Great Britain rowing and triathlon, becoming World Age group silver medallist in Sprint Triathlon in 2014 and achieving 3 gold medals at the Youth Olympics rowing in 2007. With my focus now on competitive endurance cycling I came 4th position in the national 24-hour time trial 2019 recording 453 miles. My training now is setting the Circuit of the Dales record and breaking the Pembrokeshire to Great Yarmouth record set in 2004. I’m currently looking for sponsors and support to help me complete my goals.Building on my passion for cycling I have worked within the UK and abroad guiding and supporting planning group cycle trips. Understanding the need of the individuals and managing group dynamics to develop a plan to support the group though training or challenge goals. This has involved coaching and risk assessment to ensure client safety Furthermore, I’m a qualified Sports Massage Therapist with experience setting up and running a small business to provide treatment, rehab and support individual training needs though maintenance sessions.
