As a Student Advisor at Greenwich Students' Union I provided 1-1 support to students facing difficulties with academic, housing, finance and wellbeing issues. I worked in partnership with staff across the university and Students Union to ensure that students received the best support and advice. I developed projects based on feedback gathered from students and from nationak student data.

Managed, delivered and developed the Outreach service at RASASC to ensure that we were reaching survivors who face additional barriers to accessing support after experiencing sexual violence. This included initiating and developing partnerships with organisations across South London, who specialised in different areas of work, for example homelessness, refugee and migrant support, mental health support, domestic violence and women who have been involved in the criminal justice system. Partnership work involved working with other organisations to deliver support, as well as delivering training to staff on sexual violence and its impacts. Alongside partnership work, the biggest part of my role was providing short term emotional and practical support to survivors of sexual violence across South London. This was done following the Empowerment Model, which all RASASC's services use, from a non-judgemental, empathetic and client-centred perspective. I also delivered frontline 1-1 support to survivors within three London universities on a regular basis.

As Services Administrator I was responsible for assisting with all areas of service administration for the organisation's coaching and CV support services. I also conducted outreach into the community and research into service improvement areas.

As Service Improvement Officer I worked primarily in Marie Curie's befriending service, the Helper service. My role primarily focused on developing training and guidance for both volunteers and Marie Curie staff, conducting research into areas of the service which had been identified as needing development or improvement and providing support to service managers.

My role at Marie Curie covered three broad areas of work: communications with various audiences, volunteer recognition and training and guidance for volunteer managers. Through the Charityworks programme, I was offered several personal development opportunities, including training, producing content for the online blog and peer coaching.
