Responsible for the performance management of all aspects of Adult Social Care within Kent, with responsibility for reporting locally, corporately and nationally, ensuring that business needs are met, organisational priorites are understood and targetted and a performance culture is embedded throughout the organisation. Performance Management includes areas such as practitioner performance, public involvement, budget monitoring and forecasting and Commissioning.Ensure staff have the tools to manage their own performance by ensuring our IT and reporting systems are fit for purpose. Liaise with partners in health, the voluntary sector and other agencies as well as staff at all levels.Represent Kent nationally, working with the LGA, ADASS, DH and HSCIC to develop national performance frameworks and outcomes.
