I am the Store Manager for the Fitchburg, WI location as wells as the mall kiosks at East and West Towne malls in Madison, WI. As such I am responsible for all the business and operations for all three locations. I have two sales managers that report to me as well as the sales teams at each location. My focuses are to deliver superior business results, develop all of the talent in my teams at all levels and run an operationally sound business while controlling overhead. Since taking over I have improved all of the locations from performing under 60% to quota to well over 100%.

Clintonville, Wisconsin

As the General Manager I am responsible for all business, operations, personnel and facilities at my retail campus including the main store, gas station, auto service center and yard.

As a Store Manager for Mills Fleet Farm I am responsible for all operations of the business at my retail campus. This campus includes a "big box" retail store, large receiving areas and stockrooms, gas station, c-store, car wash, lumber yard and warehouse.

As the Store Manager for the Green Bay, WI. Gander Mountain I was responsible for every aspect of our business as well as our sales and support teams. During my time in Green Bay I increased conversion, credit, protection plan sales and add-on sales throughout the store while staying under labor budgets and minimizing shrink. I worked with my leadership team to accomplish this through better training and improved team management.

As the Hardlines Zone Manager I was responsible for the firearms, hunting, archery and fishing departments of my store. I had two supervisors that reported to me while I reported directly to the store manager and acted as the Manager On Duty in their absence. My personal duties included the hiring, training, scheduling and evaluations of of the personnel in each of the departments for which I was responsible. I also spent a great amount of time as the "sales floor leader." As such I drove our sales goals by directing and motivating our sales associates to provide the best and most effective customer service possible. I also worked to develop every member of our store team as better sales professionals and leaders. During the month of August 2016 I was tasked with taking on the roll of Store Manager for our Aurora Colorado store to oversee its final month in liquidation as they moved locations. The project ended ahead of schedule and my team maintained its sales performance of controllables throughout.

As the Firearms Zone Supervisor my responsibilities included insuring all Gander Mountain policies and standards are adhered to as well as state and federal laws within the firearms department of our store. While doing this I also worked to motivate my team of salespeople to provide the best customer service and achieve the best performance in all sales metrics. We accomplished this through better training and accountability. Additionally, I oversaw all of the "behind the scenes" operations including the proper management of our special order programs, inventory management and gun smith services. During my time as the Firearm Supervisor I helped to increase my teams productivity in all tracked sales metrics. We led the district in protection plan conversion and reached 1st place in the company for average add-on sales for six months. Additionally, I served as the district "Archery Expert." As such I provided archery tech training to all stores in our district in an effort to increase the consistency and quality of our services.

Range Master:As a Range Master and Firearms Instructor at the GanderMTN Academy in Madison, WI. At the Academy I taught all of the courses that we offer including Wisconsin Concealed Carry, Illinois Concealed Carry, Florida Concealed Carry, Handgun fundamentals, Advanced Handgun Fundamentals and Wisconsin Hunter Education. Additionally I am a Certified Combat Focus Shooting Instructor through the I.C.E. training company. I also created and implemented the first successful shooting leagues for the Academy. This is now being used as the model for all of our shooting leagues nationally. In addition to those duties I also provide services as a Range Safety Officer, helping to provide a safe and fun range environment to all those coming to shoot. Furthermore, I set up our trade show presence at the Madison Area Chamber of Commerce show and BRAVA Magazines Women's Expo. Finally I provide private training as a shooting coach while using my sales and marketing skills to help further the Academy’s image as the premier civilian firearms training facility in the country.

Provided logistical support for all materials moving to and from Madison College.

Provided customer support to, and protect the property of CUNA Mutual and its on site customers while maintaining proper access control to the campus.

Provided Anti-terrorism and Military Law enforcement in four geographically and culturally diverse areas including, Texas, Crete Greece, Sicily and Virginia Beach. As a Petty Officer third class was in charge of a squad of 15 other security personnel.

Provided customer support and check-out services to all guests of Sears
