I was born and raised in Switzerland, but have lived, studied, and worked in Sweden since the summer of 2003 apart from a one-year stay in Switzerland in 2015/2016. The area of expertise concentrates on the modal shift from car to public transport (and other more sustainable transport modes). I work a lot with sustainable urban development and public transport planning/analysis - both as a project manager and project employee. My particular area of interest and expertise is route analysis for efficient and attractive public transport and public transport solutions that enhance cooperation between different public transport modes in an integrated network. Also, railway concepts based on takt timetables as a planning model and vehicle concepts (buses) are one of my specialties. In recent years, the electrification of bus traffic has become an area of interest.
