I work within the product support department at Cast & Crew. I provide support to production finance executives, accountants, and associates. The product is PSL it is a bookkeeping accounting software with many capabilities. The software allows for payments to be tracked, reports to be generated, and for productions to be organized all within the PSL network.I interact daily with high level executives and accountants for large productions like Disney, Netflix, and Warner Bros. A professional attitude and a willingness to help have really enabled me to communicate clearly with these high level executives. Having an in depth knowledge about the software and general accounting principals allow me to provide excellent service and support. Requests for support range from locating the anomaly in a cost report, to fixing a check's alignment, to walking a client a client on how to get a bank reconciliation report from PSL to actually perform the reconciliation.This position has allowed me to learn about production accounting in the entertainment industry. I have gained a great deal of experience with the accounting software and production accounting.

Rigz is the company that bought out TRKX. When TRKX was bought out by Rigz I was promoted to accounts payable specialist and worked fully remote. Similar to my previous position I would receive an invoice, however I would not approve or reject it for payment. In this case I am reviewing and ensuring that the invoice get paid directly and to the correct party. This position had me on the phone and emails more often since I would troubleshoot or review for a carrier (the truckers we are paying) as to why a load (the order we purchased) has or has not been paid. I would have to make sure everything is correct for each carrier's profile and that the documents are all correct before releasing a payment. Once it is all checked out I would then pay or provide details on how to get paid.

This job requires a keen eye for detail, due to working with many people that are stuck using old fashioned methods of business. I was hired to TRKX as a general accounting administrator. Originally the position was in office partially and and remote partially. General duties at this position were to receive invoices, match purchase orders, and to approve orders for payment. If there was an invoice that was sent in and did not match up with an order in the system I would reject it until we received the correct document.

This seasonal summer job involves speaking to parents and students and assisting them with the enrollment process. I also take their application, and process it completely from applicant being able to log in and commence course work. We went through a serious issue with new laws being passed and funding being cut, so we had many calls with angry parents, but since I was proficient, they always were left happy. This position involved data entry, excel, email etiquette, attention to detail, and ownership. I was able to succeed because of my proficiency in the aforementioned skills.

As the primary point of contact, front desk staff at a hospital for children have many duties and responsibilities. The primary duty is access control, this means to allow the right people in and get them to where they need to go in the hospital. There are many rules and guidelines that the hospital must obey, and so must I. So when a certain restriction is placed upon a parent by a judge, I must be firm and uphold that same restriction. This is where my communication skills allow me to bring people down to my level. On the other side there is a lot of filing papers, updating the database with visitation restrictions, and overall interaction with every person that enters the hospital.

Store management responsibilities involved picking inventory to sell, entering inventory into spreadsheets, opening and closing the store, as well as counting the till and storing for bank pick up.
