Having graduated in 2020 with a degree in modern languages, alongside having experience working abroad as an English teacher, I've developed a skill set that can accommodate countless situations. I've had the opportunity to open up an English school in Japan as the only teacher. I had to advertise and recruit students whilst developing my own curriculum. This entailed being able to effectively utilize Microsoft Office so that I can curate advertisements for the school (specifically for school events and seasonal sales), develop worksheets and activities for students, and record office relevant data (such as enrollment, payment history, etc). I'm very proud of my work and the creative approach I've taken in order to develop educational games and crafts for my students. As a result, I was able to increase student enrollment by 133% within a calendar year, ranking within the top 10 percentile of school enrollment across franchises in Japan (over 100 qualifying schools). I'm well versed in teaching those with special needs as well, as my current school currently has a handful of diagnosed students. Ultimately, I believe I can be an asset to any company that needs a reliable, passionate, and creative leader.
