Petro Rabigh originally produced 18.4 mtpa of petroleum-based products and 2.4 mtpa of ethylene and propylene-based derivatives. Phase II Project introduced several plants producing TPO, Nylon 6, EVA/LDPE, EPR, PMMA, MMA, MTBE, Acetone, Phenol, Benzene, and Xylene.- Supervising the Occupational Health Clinic, Industrial Hygiene, Radiation Safety, and Environmental Health activities, including setting expectations, monitoring work and evaluating performance; - Providing technical guidance to professionals;- Providing high-level expertise and advice to senior management team.

During this assignment, I successfully coordinated the ESIA and environmental approval process for a US $1B expansion project. I have implemented a security management system to improve the overall performance of the company.- Coaching, mentoring and management of HSEC personnel and contractors staff;- HSEC input into scope and design with EPCM (Mine | Railway | Plant | Port);- Lead the due diligence process with IFC and other lenders;- Coordination of the Environmental & Social Impact Assessment and permitting process;- Coordination of the Resettlement Action Plan for two villages;- Collaborating on the Long-term mining plan, and the Conceptual mine closure plan; - Developing tools for greenhouse gas inventory management and reporting; - Developing the environmental monitoring plan (air quality, community noise, water);- Being Acting Project Director.

I worked for 3 years on this US $8B project (reaching a peak of 15,000 workers) during commissioning, ramp-up, and operation. In a high-risk chemical environment, my role was to develop, coach and mentor local resources. I have implemented the IH management system, including the occupational health assessment program, respiratory protection program, and hearing conservation program. I supported the senior management team and I have held the position of HS manager from time to time.- Developing and implementing the occupational health program and safety training courses;- Developing procedure for confined space entry, legionella control, radioprotection, etc.;- Developing and implementing a gas monitoring strategy (SO2, H2S, Ammonia, etc.);- Coordinating and participating in safety inspections and accident investigations;- Internal auditor for the safety management system;- Member of the Regional response team;- HS tool crib implementation and management (SCBA units, Confined space entry equipment, etc.).

Vale New Caledonia is a major hydrometallurgical refinery and mining project (> US $4B). During this two-year assignment, I was responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive occupational health program, including respiratory protection and hearing conservation programs. I have developed, coached and mentored local resources. Finally, I represented Vale as a member of the National Asbestos Risk Assessment Working Group.- Coaching, mentoring and managing personnel;- Developing and implementing the occupational health program and safety training courses;- Developing and implementing the regulatory compliance monitoring plan;- Preparing HS policies, procedures, and training programs;- Attend managers’ meetings | Supporting senior management team;- Designing an effective PPE program;- HS tool crib implementation and management.

As regional office manager, I participated to the implementation of a new place of business.
