Stephane "léo" Laurent is currently International director Special Events and Executive Protection At Warner Bros Discovery based in France. He previously served as global Intel & security Director at Warner Bros Discovery, Security Director at Discovery, Security Manager at Eurosport/Discovery, Security Officer in Paris, Region Chief of Operations in Middle East and North Africa based in Cairo, Chief of Operations in Libya, Security Manager for the EU office in Benghazi region, Security Manager/ Team Leader Close Protection Teams at the EU CFSP Mission in Kosovo and as the head of the close protection teams for the United Nations Mission in Kosovo, EU Pillar.Mr. Laurent spent more than 17 years in the French Army, including 15 years in the Special Forces. During these 17 years, he served in different positions, in various international missions (EU, UN, NATO...), including as a security manager, intelligence officer and as head of the close protection office for the Special Forces. Mr. Laurent was also a member of the Free Fall team.Mr. Laurent is trained as an instructor in shooting, firearms, close protection. He holds a black belt, second dan, in Judo Jujitsu.In August 2010, Mr. Laurent completed certification, with distinction, as an European Union Mission Security Officer and in September 2012 Completed his High School Private Security Diploma and a management diploma (French Nationnal education level 3).
