I obtained a Law degree from the University of Montreal in 1996. I was called to the Quebec Bar in 1997.Previously, I acted as a Canadian Immigration and Customs Officer between 1991 and 1996. I started my career at McCarthy Tétrault, where he worked for more than four (4) years. Then, I, along with two partners, opened a boutique-firm, Arcand Doyon Duval, LLP, specialized in Immigration Law. In 2002, Arcand Doyon Duval merged with Robinson Sheppard Shapiro, LLP. In 2012, I joined Heenan Blaikie, LLP as a partner until its closure and Cain Lamarre Casgrain Wells. Finally, in June 2014, I returned at McCarthy Tétrault as a Partner specialized in business immigration and international mobility.Throughout my career, I developed expertise in various facets of immigration law, particularly with respect to the international mobility of workers, business immigration and appeals against negative decisions. My practice led me to plead to multiple instances of Quebec and Canada. I provide businesses and independent persons a wide range of legal services and advice in Immigration and cross-border matters.I am a member of the Montreal, Quebec and Canadian Bar Associations. I am Treasurer of the Canadian Bar Association, National Immigration Section as well as the Vice-President of the Quebec Division. As well, I am a member of the Quebec Bar Consultative Committee on Immigration and Citizenship.Specialties: Business Immigration Law including work permits, permanent residency and canadian citizenship.
