As a first-generation Latinx STEM student and McNair Scholar, I am passionate about advancing research that addresses health disparities. With a focus on genetics, my academic and research interests lie in understanding the intersections of diabetes and women's health. I am driven to uncover solutions that improve patient outcomes and health equity.I am eager to develop new skills, engage in collaborative research, and expand my network within the scientific community. I aspire to contribute meaningfully to breaking barriers in STEM, especially for marginalized groups, while continuously growing as a researcher and scholar.
