I am a veterinary technician at a non-profit spay and neuter clinic with several years of experience working and volunteering with animal non-profit organizations. I work mainly as a pre-op technician and am proficient in pre-surgical prep, patient monitoring, and blood draws as well as sanitation and administrative duties. I also foster cats with medical needs for several local cat-rescue organizations. In my spare time I have successfully applied to several grants and fundraising opportunities that have secured over $22,000 for clinic operations in 2022 alone.While working full-time I am also taking online classes at Middlesex Community College with the goal of transferring to a 4-year university to attain a degree in accounting, which will help me pursue future non-profit management endeavors. I am currently maintaining a 3.97 GPA while taking several classes per semester on top of working and volunteering.
