Intensive supervision unit. Only Travis County Probation Officer with MH/DD/MR case load. Working with health care facilities and local courts to unsure clients compliance of Court ordered conditions. Intensive supervision to ensure clients remain stable on medications and attempting to reduce the risk of recidivism.

Work with clients to improve daily living skills, accessing community resources and maintaining benefits. Case management services and working as a team to coordinate mental health care. Work one on one with clients to assist them in developing coping skills, ways to manage their medications and assist them in getting out into the community for healthy activities. I teach clients daily living skills over a wide spectrum from how to have better oral hygiene to how to get through a panic attack while in public. I am a Centerstone payee for 6 clients where I manage their finances, pay their bills and assist them with budgeting skills.

Administrative work with the courts and prosecutors office. Worked with clients one on one to assist them in insuring their understanding of rules and regulations of probation including community service work, fees and maintaining appointments. Data entry of new clients and purging of confidential information after 10 years. Assist co-workers by covering lunches, answering phones and working on projects. Assist probation officers with data entry and locating past court records for clients.
