Stephanie is an Academic Interventionist for pre-K through 4th grade students at a title one school in one of Texas' leading school districts. As a member of the school's core team, she works to create an inclusive, inspiring community that elevates students and educators alike to set and achieve their best goals enroute to their dreams She is a life long educator who passionately builds inclusive, energized communities for the betterment of children's education. Since earning a Bachelors Degree in Education she has led in classrooms and diverse educational communities in 3 states, 3 countries on 2 continents over 20 years. With current or prior certification in Tennessee, Virginia, Texas, and South Carolina, Stephanie has instructed hundreds of elementary students in multiple curricula spanning 25 years. Her extensive experience in developing and delivering lesson plans supporting district and state wide standards result in classroom metrics consistently ranking in the top 5% statewide. But her "school is fun!" approach that is key to getting students to perform to their potential. During the COVID 19 Pandemic she was instrumental in developing and implementing an entire remote delivery model. Her fun You Tube math skills modules were noted by many parents and colleagues as a bright spot and something the kids really looked forward to. When family international postings and visa rules prevented her from teaching in the classroom, Stephanie took on volunteer executive roles, mobilizing and managing hundreds of volunteers, and raising hundreds of thousands of dollars all for the betterment of the individual child's educational experience. At the American School of Dubai, she teamed with educational professionals, the Superintendent and board of trustees to rewrite the bylaws of the Parent Teacher Student Association raising it to a 501c non-profit organization ensuring transparency appropriate for such a large fundraising organization. Stephanie also was invited by the Superintendent and participated in United Arab Emirates Education Ministry strategy workshops.She also raised 3 children who have attended or graduated top ranked Universities in the US.Stephanie looks forward to joining a community focused administrative team that could use her skills.
