-Working within the community at a clients kindergarten and childcare, with the aim of promoting play, socialisation and receptive/expressive language skills. -Providing 1-1 and group intervention sessions via Telehealth and in the clinic.

-Working closely with speech pathologists, occupational therapists and those with experience in the education sector and utilising a key worker model. Primarily seeing children aged between 0-13, with a particular focus on early intervention.-Providing family centred care and working closely with families to achieve their children’s goals through home, school and kinder visits.-1 day a week at a prep to grade 9 college providing language groups, conducting assessments such as the CELF-5 and SPAT-R and writing reports. - Gained skills and knowledge in mealtime management and early feeding, early language, speech, sensory and behavioural management, multimodal communication including AAC and Key Word Sign, and neuro-affirming care.

-7 week placement primarily in the acute setting and emergency department: general medicine, cardio thoracic, rheumatology, surgical, neurological and geriatric wards. - Opportunities to observe Fees and VFSS and laryngectomy assessment/management.

-Along with 4 other students, I developed an 8 week cognitive group intervention plan for the sub acute team at St Vincent’s Hospital in East Melbourne and Kew to utilise. This included resources for the activities, session plans and a finalised PowerPoint. This project was presented to the subacute team.

-Providing assessment and intervention at a primary school 1 day per week.-Providing 1-1 intervention/assessment for articulation, social-emotional and language development.-Developing highly targeted therapy goals related to my clients communication priorities. -Assisted to deliver social skills groups led by experienced clinicians between 2022-2024.

ACU Speech Pathology Communication Clinic/neurology clinic. I provided assessment and intervention for a diverse range of adult clients with dysarthria, cognitive impairment, voice disorder and expressive/receptive language impairment as a result of Parkinson’s Disease, post stroke, language delay etc. -Administered SPEAK OUT!-Conducted aphasia group therapy.
