As a Designer and Lead Assistant Designer to the owner of the company my role includes:-Designing residential spaces with cabinetry and utilizing my knowledge to help the client achieve their vision. -Work one on one directly with the client.-Projects range from one space to an entire home. IE: Kitchen, Bathrooms, Laundry Room, Walk in closets, etc.-Site measures of existing spaces or newly framed homes.-Work closely with Contractors to ensure timelines are met with there schedule -Quoting cabinetry, countertops and fixtures -Ordering cabinetry, countertops and fixtures -Create Client contract. Contract includes ensuring all specifics of cabinetry and finishes are accurate to what the client has made final decisions on.-Completing a set of detailed CAD drawings for the client, contractor and tradespeople to follow.-All CAD drawings are drawn to appliance and fixture specifications and any other specific item to the space.

My role with Marcon was to provide aid to the Designers/Sales department. My responsibilities included:- Provide sales department with quality CAD drawings, showcasing designs that meet clients needs and expectations.-Quote cabinetry and countertops for each project - Order cabinetry for each project - Track and schedule cabinet deliveries and installations to ensure deadlines are met with the contractor’s project deadlines.- Complete detailed CAD drawings for client, contractor and tradespeople for each project. Ensuring that specifications of all appliances and any other specific item to the space is met.- Provide quality customer service by guiding clients through the design process.- Liaise with contractors during renovation process from beginning to final completion.- some light office administration duties and acting manager in absence of owner.
