I transitioned from work as an Administrative Assistant in Logistics (for the same Company/Contract) and now work with all divisions in assessing their current financial status and action items. Always having loved working with data, I find this job exciting and fulfilling. I continue to learn the many nuance and relationships in corporate financial realm and truly enjoy being a part of the sucess of our team! Performing research as to why, and then develop the how we can fix it is truly a joy for me and I love being a part of an exceptional team that all shares their wisdom and experience in working together to reach our daily goals in ensuring a healthy and accurate financial environment. In a nutshell, supporting, learning and empowering others is my passion and purpose in life. I am not afraid to step up to a challenge and work to provide a solution. Served as the Administrative Assistant to the Logistics Division Manager on the Institutional Services Contract (ISC) at the Kennedy Space Center. In a nutshell, our division is the "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles" of KSC! This division is so dynamic with a variety of job skillsets and people in which to learn from. I am responsible for a variety of tasks including training, reports, data collection/analyzation, document control manager, correspondence and creative outlets such as developing and maintaining division's Sharepoint presence online and developing and publishing our Division's newsletter. Being proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite allows me to create dynamic reports and provide information to co-workers on how it can be used to assist them in their daily job responsibilities. I am very involved with community service activities within my organization. I am a member of our contracts' Employee Involvement Council (EIC), and have served as the Chair for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and most recently as the United Way of Central Brevard Champion for our contract. I have also had the opportunity to facilitate our contracts annual Toy Drive for local area children, as well as organize a School Supply Drive for local children. I love giving back to the community, and the ISC contract has allowed continuous opportunities to do so! I assisted with the PAO support of the URS busses in support of Space Shuttle launches and truly enjoyed meeting team member's family and friends and being able to share such an amazing experience with them. As Badging Official I was responsible for badging for all personnel for the CMC contract as it pertains to Kennedy Space Center. I was also responsible for ensuring that all KSC site personnel were current on all required training, and assisted with their scheduling as needed. Travel coordination and preparation is another key element of my job, as well as the departmental standards of ordering of supplies, maintaining calendars, updating of schedules and rosters.

Space Gateway Support allowed me to learn the world of government contracts. I was a Specialized Clerk III when hired and was promoted to Specialized IV about a year later. My daily tasks included the processing of subcontractor and customer invoices as they pertained to the main government contract as well as the variety of commerical contracts in place. I gained valuable knowledge and insight as to all that goes into negotiating, implementing, maintaining and closing of contracts.

I then briefly worked with United Space Alliance from April to May 2005 before accepting a full-time job with Space Gateway Support.
