Education has always been the most important aspect of my life as a first-generation student and Mexican-American. My parents were not able to receive an education and have always instilled in me to take advantage of the opportunities that they never had, this has lead to me excel in school. With my parents' support, I graduated salutatorian of my high school class and was accepted to the University of South Florida (USF).Even with my focus on education, I also participated and volunteered in my community since age 14. I participated and received awards and recognitions in Interact Club, Dreamcatchers, National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Art Club, and Women of Tomorrow. I have volunteered at my local library since the age of 14, helping spread literacy awareness in a small, low-income city. This helped me discover my passion for volunteering, which I am still continuing to this day. At USF, I was involved with The College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP), my first year as a participant, and later as a mentor, ambassador, and presenter. I was involved in The Corporate Mentor Program (CMP) and was the Marketing Chair for USF Rotaract as well as an acting member.In December 2022, I graduated from USF Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Business Analytics. Currently, I am pursuing a Master's in Business Administration with specialization in Data Analytics and am the first in my family to further my education past a bachelor's degree.I am currently working as a Process Specialist with Customer Excellence at FPL Energy Services. As a process specialist, I leverage my expertise to streamline operations and drive efficiency. With a focus on continuous improvement, I analyze workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement innovative solutions to optimize productivity and quality.
