I’m a multimedia specialist who is native to Los Angeles, CA. I have a Bachelor of Art in Journalism and Integrated Media with a concentration in Broadcast from Biola University. At Biola I honed my skills in news reporter, video editing, and eventually become a sports reporter. However, my journey in journalism began at East Los Angeles College where I worked and fulfilled every capacity in a newsroom setting as part of ELAC Campus News. At Biola University, I was a staff photographer and writer for The Point magazine. I am currently a freelance photographer and videographer for non-profits California Contract Cities Association and Faithful Teachings in Southern California. I had the opportunity to travel to Costa Rica with Faithful Teachings and document the medical brigade offered to various communities throughout the country. I also had the opportunity to use by bilingual skills and as a translator. My background in early childhood education also helped me engage with families and children as I documented the fullness of the international trip. My role as preschool teacher’s assistant at Corona Avenue Elementary School in Bell helped me engaged in a deep and meaningful way. I enjoy working with children because I get a glimpse of how they perceive the world.
