Serve as Associate Head of School to promote active classrooms that are alive with discovery, problem-solving, challenge, and collaboration. The primary goal is to motivate instructional personnel to strive for Centennial’s core value of EXCELLENCE and ensure rigorous STEAM-based and standards-aligned instruction in every K-8 classroom for every scholar. Set the direction for the instructional framework and pedagogical approach to Centennial Academy’s academic programs while working collaboratively with school leaders, teachers, and scholars to spark joy in teaching and learning so that all scholars can succeed.

• Leverage and maintain partnerships with Georgia Tech, The Georgia Aquarium, The Coca Cola Company, Sheltering Arms, Arthur Blank YMCA, Paramount Hospitality, and The Integral Group, to increase extended learning opportunities for scholars, professional learning for educators, and funding for school • Serve as Project Manager for the Rollins Center for Language and Literacy partnership, W. K. Kellogg Foundation Grant ($850,000) and Georgia Office of Student Achievement Accelerator Grant ($55,000)• Special events planning including Commencement, Convocation, iNspire Banquets with guests of over 1200 people including coordinating A-list speakers such as the Mayor of Atlanta, The Coca-Cola Company Executives, etc.• Effectively advised Head OF School on internal and external community and constituent morale and engagement• Produce school collateral and publications to increase stakeholder’s knowledge of the school’s key messaging including vision, mission, key messaging, and overall brand resulting in scholar enrollment and donations• Assist with cultivating and stewarding major donors• Oversee all electronic communications and website requirements for the school; Developed and implemented social media communication and increased school’s visibility by 30%• Coordinate the work and objectives of the Communications and Partnerships support team • Oversee Centennial Consortium for School Readiness including School Readiness Coordinator• Lead grant writing initiatives to increase school revenue• Member: Governance Committee, School Board of Directors
