About Stephanie Hunter

A highly motivated cocktail bartender/bar manager with a passion for running an excellent bar. With over 7 years in the field of hospitality, both in England and in Greece, mainly working in cocktail bars, I am finally settled as assistant general manager at Joe Perks & Co; a well established espresso bar/smokehouse/cocktail bar in Oxford.In addition to bartending, I have also worked several catering events as both waitress and hostess. I obtained my Personal Licence for sale of alcohol in 2011.Whilst travelling in Greece and the Balkan countries for almost 3 years, I learnt Greek and Albanian (I can read, write and speak both). This is a skill I would definitely like to continue and would consider translation work.

    A multi-faceted role, involving long shifts, late nights and primarily weekend work. I was generally making sure the business was run smoothly, with emphasis on recruiting and training new staff. In charge of paying staff, having monthly meetings with the accountant to discuss expenditures etc. I was in charge of doing all the stock ordering/counting, and was the keyholder, making sure that everything was opened and secured properly at the end of the night. A great part of this job was making cocktails and other drinks to a standard of excellence, and of course, motivating the other staff to do the same.
