Collaborate as a UX and occasional Visual Designer with other designers and project stakeholders to create complex, responsive web applications that help financial advisors manage and run their books of business. Worked as member of IBM Docs UX design team. Helped create user personas, competitive analyses, wireframes, and visual elements. Participated in meetings with developers and international members and leaders of IBM Docs team.

Created promotional materials for literacy non-profit. Designed educational content for the teachers and students of Motheread’s programs. Gained a deeper understanding of how designed elements can aid user’s cognition.

Worked as one of two graphic designers for small–team marketing agency. Created promotional and informational materials and new brand identities for clients.

Worked as in-house designer for public policy think tank based in Raleigh, NC. Helped them expand their own brand and developed visual identities for community events and annual forums. Gained skills in communicating and working professionally with non-design departments through weekly meetings with the director of IEI and other department heads.
